Situated on a 14,000 square meter plot, Viña Concepción has four bedrooms, a living room, a spacious kitchen-dining room, and two bathrooms (one of them accessible for wheelchair users) on two floors. The house, entirely built in stone and recently renova-ted, has air conditioning in all rooms and a two-sided fireplace that serves both the dining and the living room. It features a large terrace on the first floor and three porches on the ground floor. And it also has a barbecue, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine, iron, and other electrical appliances. Next to the house, there is a spacious area for playing, on top of garden areas.

Our guests will enjoy exclusive access to our pool measuring 8 x 4 meters and equipped with saline chlorination and water access via built-in steps with a handrail .Its perimeter includes a vast beach area, sun loungers, and other garden furniture. Furthermore, decorative lighting has been installed both inside and around the pool.

Viña Concepción is located in the Viñas de Peñallana, within the municipal district of Andújar, and only 13 km away from the capital of this municipality, one of the most rele-vant in the province of Jaén in terms of population, commerce, and services. Not only is Viña Concepción just a 5-minute walk away from the Visitors Center of the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park, but also it is situated just over a kilometer from the renowned Los Pinos Restaurant.

In the area, it is not uncommon to spot the Iberian lynx, and a great variety of raptors including the highly protected Iberian imperial eagle, the black vulture, the royal owl, and other high-value species for hunting.

The Natural Park has the largest patches of Mediterranean forest in the peninsula, dominated by holm oak and cork oak in pasture form, and, at higher altitudes where humidity is higher, the gall oak. Several rivers and reservoirs cross it too, and it harbors remnants of endangered species such as the Iberian lynx and the Iberian wolf, being Andújar the only natural space in southern Spain that maintains a population of this magnificent animal, along with a small colony in the Sierra de Hornachuelos.

The landscape is dominated by vast meadows dedicated to the breeding of fighting bulls or to the hunting exploitation of deer, fallow deer, roe deer, mouflons, and wild boars. Thus, hunting is a major economic resource in the acclaimed public and private hunting grounds of the Park. It constitutes an ideal setting for activities such as hiking or wildlife photography, since it presents many trails, viewpoints, recreational areas, and tourist services.

In addition to its natural values, our Park is known for hosting the Basilica-Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza on the Cerro del Cabezo; the Pilgrimage, in April, attracts tens of thousands of people from all over Spain.

Furthermore, a quite significant archaeological and ethnographic heritage represented, among others, by prehistoric sites can be found. It is also worth noting that our mountain range is the largest starlight tourist reserve and destination in the world, constituting a privileged place to observe the sky under optimal conditions (Star Observatory in Sierra de Andújar at the Mingorramos Viewpoint). Not to mention that the cities of Córdoba, Úbeda, and Baeza (declared World Heritage Sites) are just an hour's drive from our accommodation.

40 minutes away from Viña Concepción, you will find Baños de la Encina, with the castle of Burgalimar (declared a National Monument in 1931), an Umayyad Caliphate fortress built in the 10th century, one of the best-preserved citadels in Spain, due to its crenelated wall with fifteen towers conserved in excellent conditions, despite being considered the most ancient castle in the country.

The city of Andújar (, thirteen kilometers away, owns an interesting monumental complex highlighted by the Plaza de España and the Plaza de Santa María, where the Mozarabic Clock Tower and the Church of Santa María la Mayor, an elegant Renaissance building that houses treasures such as El Greco's "The Agony in the Garden" and the manuscript "Sayings of Light and Love" by Saint John of the Cross, are found. The city also has an attractive nightlife with venues like Arco Chico, which offers live music.
